Before the details

What this policy covers, in short

Hormone Strength publishes strength-training material for readers in Indonesia. We do not sell anything on this site and we do not process payments here, so the personal data we hold is narrow: what you type into the contact form and the basic technical information any web server records when a page loads.

The rest of this document sets out each category of data, the reason we hold it, how long it stays with us, who else may see it, and how you can ask us to correct or remove it. Where a term below needs explaining, we say what it means in plain language rather than leaving you to look it up.

  • Contact form messages, kept only while we handle the enquiry
  • Basic server and browser records used for security and page counts
  • No payment details, no purchase history, no account profiles
  • No selling of personal data, and no marketing mail sent from our inbox

The data we collect, and why

Data we collect

Information you give us directly

When you use the contact form you share your name, your email address, and whatever you write in the message box. Nothing else is asked for. We do not run accounts, so there is no profile to log in to and no saved preferences attached to your email address beyond the thread itself. If you would rather not send a form at all, you can write to us from your own mail client or call the studio during opening hours.

Data we collect

Technical data recorded automatically

Every website receives some information when a browser requests a page. In our case that means the browser type and version, the operating system, the page you asked for, the page that referred you, the time of the request, and an approximate location derived from your IP address at city or region level. It does not tell us who you are and we do not combine it with the contact form to build a profile.

Why we collect it

Replies, corrections, and topic requests

Contact form data exists so we can answer you, check a correction you have flagged, or consider a training topic you would like covered on the site. Technical data keeps the site running: it tells us which pages load slowly, which articles readers actually finish, and whether an unusual pattern of requests looks like automated abuse we should block.

Why we collect it

What we deliberately do not do

We do not use contact form data for marketing, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell personal data to third parties. The site has no payment step and no checkout, so no card or bank details ever reach us. Where we need to measure how the site is used, we look at aggregated counts rather than the behaviour of named individuals.

Legal basis and consent

Where applicable law asks us to name a legal basis for handling personal data, we lean on two: your consent and our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working.

Consent is at work when you choose to submit the contact form. Legitimate interest covers the ordinary operation of a website: server logs, page counts, and filtering out automated traffic. Consent can be withdrawn whenever you like by writing to us.

Legal basis for each type of processing on this site
What we do Basis
Answering a message you send through the contact form Your consent at submission
Considering a correction or a topic suggestion you raise Legitimate interest in accurate content
Keeping the site available and protecting it from abuse Legitimate interest in security
Counting which pages readers open, in aggregate Legitimate interest in measurement

Withdrawing consent stops future processing. It does not undo anything already done lawfully before you wrote to us, and it does not oblige us to delete records we are separately required to keep.

How long we keep things

Contact form messages
Kept for as long as it takes to handle your enquiry and any follow-up that comes out of it. Once that work is finished, the thread is deleted or reduced to a short note that no longer identifies you.
Technical server logs
Held for a limited period, long enough to trace a fault or an attack, then deleted. Where we still need a long-term picture of traffic, we keep totals and drop the individual entries behind them.
Aggregated page counts
Numbers are kept without email addresses, IP addresses, or names attached, so they cannot be traced back to a single reader.

Who else may see your data

We do not hand personal data to other companies so they can market to you. Sharing is limited to the few situations below, and only for the purposes already described on this page.

  • Hosting providers. The company that keeps the site online technically handles the traffic and the logs, under a contract that limits what it may do with them.
  • Analytics providers. Where measurement tools are in use, they receive page-level counts rather than contact form content.
  • Authorities. If we are legally required to disclose information, we disclose only what the requirement actually covers.
  • No one else. Nobody receives your data for their own advertising, profiling, or resale.

Your rights over your data

Subject to applicable law, you can make any of the requests below about the personal data we hold. Send them to [email protected], and we will confirm what we can do and how long it should take.

Ask what we hold

You may request a copy of the personal data linked to you, together with a short note on where it came from and why we are holding it.

Correct what is wrong

If a name, an email address, or the contents of a message are inaccurate, tell us and we will amend the record.

Have it deleted

You can ask us to remove the data we hold about you, unless we are obliged to keep it for a legal or security reason, in which case we will say so and explain what stays.

Object to a use

You may object to processing we justify by legitimate interest. We will weigh the objection and tell you the outcome in writing.

Take a copy with you

You can ask for the data you supplied in a portable format if you want to move it somewhere else.

Before we act on a request we may ask a question or two to confirm that the person writing is the person the data belongs to. That step protects readers from someone else requesting their information.

Security and how we treat younger readers

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect what we hold. Access to the contact inbox is limited to the people who need it to reply, site software is kept updated, and we do not keep copies of messages in personal drives or on shared devices.

No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot promise that unauthorised access will never happen. If we ever become aware of a problem that affects your data, we will tell the people affected and the relevant authority as the law requires.

This site is written for a general audience and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the contact form or anywhere else. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to [email protected] and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page when the way the site works changes, or when the rules that apply to us change. The current version is always the one published here, dated at the top of the page. If you keep using the site after an update, we take that as acceptance of the revised wording.

If you want to check what has changed since you last read this page, write to us and we will describe the difference between the version you read and the one in force.

Questions readers ask

Do you need my data before I can read the training articles?

No. Every article and guide on this site is open. The contact form is there for readers who want to ask something, flag a mistake, or suggest a topic, and nothing on the site is gated behind it.

Will I start receiving emails after I send a message?

Only a reply to what you asked. There is no mailing list attached to the contact form, and we do not pass your address to anyone for advertising.

Does this site take payments or hold card details?

It does not. There is no checkout and no transaction on hormonestrength.id, so no payment information is collected or stored at any point.

How do I ask for my message to be deleted?

Send a short note to [email protected] from the same address you used before, saying that you want the thread removed. We will confirm once it is done, and we will explain if any part has to stay for a legal or security reason.
